Class Schedule for 2013
In our project classes you can learn to knit anything from scarves to socks to felted purses to lace shawls to hats to sweaters.
Pick your project and join in the fun. Our knitters inspire each other to try new things by sharing ideas and showing off their latest creation.

Pre-registration is required as class sizes are limited. Please choose your dates carefully. Because of scheduling conflicts and complications, make-up classes will only be allowed under special circumstances and individual consideration.

Sit and Knit or Crochet Saturdays

Play Date with Color Workshop with Gustine
|
Due you struggle with combining or choosing colors for your projects? Maybe you’d just like a few pointers to hone your own skills for your next Fairisle project. Learn to work with color using the “Color Grid” taught by our own textile design expert Gustine.
You’ll receive yarn to play with, 2 patterns
using Fairisle stitches, a Color Grid, a project bag, graph paper and practice paper to color your own design.

Private lessons will require a 50% deposit when scheduled.

1 hour knitting or crochet will be $20 for 1 student,
$15 per 2 or more students
-
1 hour spinning or weaving will be $25, $20 per 2 or more students
-
Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will forfeit deposit with exceptions for emergencies. Other cancellations can be transferred to rescheduled lessons or store credit.

Our Teachers
Gustine received a BS in Textile and Costume Design from UC Davis in 2000. She has been knitting, spinning and weaving since 1997 and started developing her love of dyeing 1998.
Maya learned to knit from her Grandmother Arlone when she was 5 years old and like so many of us drifted away from it. Four years ago she rediscovered the art and has been addicted ever since. She will be teaching children's and beginning classes in April. |
